By the time we made it to Gardner, Montana (at the north-side
of Yellowstone), it was mid-afternoon. The campsites and lodging in
the park were full, so we listened to Anne (a reservation agent for
the park) who suggested the "Yellowstone Suites." When I walked down
the road to find it, I was introduced to the casual and graceful nature
of the people of Gardner. A kind lady named Judi clarified my instructions
and even provided another location in town if there was no vacancy.
When I walked into the beautiful stone wrought building at the end
of 4th Ave., I was immediately taken in the by the simple, yet elegant
decor. The engaging spirit of the Inn Keeper's neighbor, Deb, |
welcomed me in to show off the LAST room at the Inn.
Since we couldn't use the kitchen at the Suites, Deb suggested the
possibility that a friend of hers might be available to cook our dinner
at the "Rusty Rail." After contacting John, head chef of the "Rusty
Rail," he informed me that not only was it possible, but he was looking
forward to cooking Bear meat for the FIRST time! We were a little
UNDER Dressed , but John provided one of the best meals of my life
(I think we were the envy of the Restaurant)! Nicole and Kendra provided
the "Personality" and fantastic service for an incredible meal, |

and we even got a chance to meet with John and Pete
the men BEHIND the Meal! Not only is Yellowstone a National wonder,
but it's also a place for Newlyweds... Scott and Wendy |
were a cute couple that had just tied the knot and they
and the staff |

gave the trip a Warm send off and many blessings! |
